Why Pogo is legal in the Philippines?

In 2016, the Filipino Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) took bold steps to enforce stricter guidelines on gambling regulations to curb the spread of illegal online gambling activities and to ensure that they are properly regulated. These online gaming activities, as was later discovered, have existed since 2003, almost 13 years before the current administration took over them. What is POGO?

The World Wide Web has opened the door to online transactions dramatically. Because of the convenience and accessibility they offer, online transactions have been offered and accepted by the industry so as not to be excluded from their competition.
